The stone has been quarried in the area around anröchte for centuries.
The Greenstone's structure, texture and colour are determined by various minerals and their geometric distribution in the stone.
The Greenstone is a living material. Its unique texture and the fossil inclusions give it a distinctive living quality hardly any other material can match.
Depending on the way the stone is processed, it can have a surface texture that makes it appear lighter or darker: smooth after honing and brushing, rough after flaming and blasting or strongly textured after bush-hammering.
We can provide the following surfaces:
The Greenstone is being offered in all sizes, random lengths and standard thicknesses.
Cut to size material like steps, window sills and coverings can be produced at any time.
Slabs are of course also available.
